Our small group at Church has taken another step towards accountability by forming “war councils”.

The name is really lame, but if we run with the analogy then it’s actually quite appropriate. The idea was to be Kingdom minded. To have the mindset that we are heirs/co-heirs of Christ (Romans 8) and that our lives count for something.

Not only that, but we aren’t just mucking around with our actions, but what we do actually has eternal ramifications. You need people to keep you accountable to who you really are in Christ, and that is, your war council.

It also makes sense to call it a war council when we feel under attack.
